My Top 10 Anime of 2012

Two words followed by a number, then another two words followed by another number. Sweet.
The rules for this list are simple: the show needed to end at some point during 2012. Actually, that’s the only rule, but this means that shows could start in late 2011 as long as they continued into 2012. Oh, and only shows I actually watched can make the list, obviously.
So basically this is the ballot I sent in for the APR Best of 2012 voting. I just flipped the order they’re listed in and expanded a bit more on some of the reasons for picking a few of the shows. However, this is still ultimately just a list, so I’m still only giving about a sentence or two to explain why I picked each one.

I couldn’t join with any of the cool kids doing April Fools’ jokes today because I couldn’t think of any good ones. I had some vague ideas, but they were pretty dumb, so nothing came to fruition. Instead, I’m going to live with the shame of not having been able to do one, which will motivate me to think about a good one for next year.
Yes, I just turned not doing an April Fools’ joke into some ass-backwards, extra motivation to continue blogging for another year.

As to be expected, I was/am busier than expected. So only one post today, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is short, either. Though I do have a few things circling in my head about what I want to say, so I guess it’ll really come down to how much I can say about everything.
So I decided to be an idiot and pre-ordered TERA. This basically lets me in to all of the closed beta tests, which is on the weekends, every other weekend, starting with this one. Not sure if it’ll hinder me getting a post or two out or not, but I’m considering waiting for the next episode of Shana and doing a double-episode post anyways. It’s pretty much five days late, so I may as well, right? Especially since I don’t have much to say for the latest episode. Then again, maybe that means I should just write it up real fast. Argh, I’m confusing myself. I’ll think about what I want to do.
