Achievement Unlocked – 200 Comments

About three months ago, this blog had 100 comments. Four months before that, it had none. Now it has 200.

Mathematically speaking, it seems as though each milestone is taking a month less to reach than the last. And now that I’ve said that, the next milestone will be something random to screw with my formula and analytical personality and make me cry.

As you can see, there are actually over 400 comments. However, around half of them are me replying to comments, so those don’t count. If you factor out around half of the comments, then subtract a few since pingbacks also count as comments, we’ve got around 200 left.

Last time I thanked specific people and gave shout-outs and such, but I’m not going to do that this time. Partly because I’m lazy, but mostly because I’d be thanking the exact same people. Probably for different reasons, but still.
If anything, I’d add Marina to the list for always being so nice and also supplying one of my banners. However, I’ll see her food posts which will make me hungry, but then I’ll remember I can’t cook so then I’m sad. So that makes me not want to add her to my shout-outs (just kidding, obviously, but your food posts actually do make me extremely hungry).

Instead I’ll just go straight to the personal stuff.

Just like last time, I still have no intention of ending my blogging anytime soon. It’s been a bit rough recently to figure out how to manage my blogging times (that whole month or so where I went without posting), but I think we’re back on track now.

I may change my background static image soon. I’ve gotten kind of used to the current one, so I want to change it. It’s surprisingly been a nice fit, but a more anime-esque one would be nice.

I kind of want to do a “Top Ten Anime” post soon. Normally those are saved for when you have no ideas of what to post, but I feel like if I do one it could show my personality/tastes a bit more. Or it could show I’m completely sporadic, which is extremely likely.

As for the currently airing anime season, you should be watching Bunny Drop. It’s a fucking good show. I would also recommend No. 6, but the newest episode revealed that the show has the potential to have an extremely retarded finish.
Other than that, be sure you’re keeping up with Tiger & Bunny and Steins;Gate from last season. So far they’ve been phenomenal, and as long as they don’t botch their endings, it looks like I’ll have some 10s to give out.

That’s all I can think of that I wanted to say blog-wise. Again, if I think of anything, I’ll add it or just say something in the comments or something. Also, feel free to ask questions in the comments about the blog or me personally. This is the kind of post to ask that kind of stuff.

Also, now that college has started up again, I’m getting back into playing a ton of games, so I’m pretty active on Steam. If you want to add me, my account name is alivenovaflare. Just let me know who you are, whether you’re a blogger or a reader.

To wrap this up, just like last time, I have nice “fun fact” about search terms people use to find my blog.snap2

Who.
How.
Why.

  1. Yukiatsu and jumping tits make a great combination. Anyway, as you can tell I’m fairly new but have realized we share quite a few commonalities relating to anime and look forward to more posts! Plus, I would also throw Kaiji and Mawaru Penguindrum into the mix of series that have stood out to me. Cheers!

Hahaha, I love how you end this post with that strange search term :p Who and why, indeed!

And congratulations on the 200 mark! >.< I always have fun reading these posts of yours since I do enjoy reading up on your personal ramblings. And for the food note–GO PLAY IN THE KITCHEN! Learn to experiment with cooking! You won't regret learning some cooking basics.

I have to agree with you that Bunny Drop is a fabulous show from this season. I'm also highly enjoying Penguindrum, No.6, Ikoku Meiro, Natsume, Kamisama Dolls, and strangely enough, Nekogami. I am watching a slew of others, but these are my favorites for the summer season. Tiger & Bunny, which I count as Spring, has also been a great show to follow (I'm d/l Steins;Gate but won't watch until I have all the episodes).

The last time I cooked, I burned a nice chunk of my arm. That was in Junior High for a class. I even caught it on film, so I can relive my failure whenever I want!

I’m not watching any of those except for No. 6 and Kamisama Dolls. I already mentioned my thoughts on No. 6, and Kamisama Dolls has been kinda “meh” for me. It’s not bad by any means, and it is getting better, but it still needs a bit more to it before I get genuine enjoyment out of it.
I’m curious to see how people who are going to marathon Steins;Gate are going to react to it. I know both you and Glo are doing it, so I’m looking forward to your guys’ reviews or whatever you post on it.
