Review: Nyanpire: The Animation

Anime: Nyanpire: The Animation
Animation Studio: Gonzo
Number of Episodes: 12
Length per Episode: Approximately 4 minutes

So it’s the usual delays in getting these out: personal stuff, school/homework, sleep deprivation, etc. I’m trying my best to get these out regardless, but you guys’ll have to bear with some delays.

Anyways, onto… wait, I’m reviewing Nyanpire? What the hell am I supposed to write about a show that has only two minutes of actual show content?

You read that right. Nyanpire: The Animation is four minutes each, but there’s a 15 or 30 second intro, and a minute and a half ending, meaning the actual show is only around two minutes in length.

Adding that up, that means that Nyanpire’s entire run is about the length of a single episode of a normal-length show.

So, what is there to say? Well Nyanpire is worth watching (though with a show this short there’s no excuse not to watch it even if you’re only slightly interested). Plus it’s cute at times with Nyanpire’s antics and such. And, possibly surprisingly, it was genuinely funny at times. “Meowcifer” (Lucifer) being the funniest. He trolls people all the time and even scares children-animal to the point where they’ll give him their stuff.

…Yeah that’s it. I don’t have much content to go off, so not much I can do about that. Though I guess I can say I liked how WhyNot? Subs put “meow” and “nyan” puns into the subtitles. Not sure if any other groups did that, but for some reason, it was incredibly amusing at times.

RATING: 8 out of 10.

*You seriously expect me to make a slideshow for a 2-minute show?*
