Pokemon Designs Have Gotten More Creative, Not Less (and That’s the Problem)

In celebration of Pokemon Sun and Moon coming out and my previous Pokemon post years ago getting over getting a bunch of traffic, I thought I would cover another topic about the series that I find interesting.

Though admittedly it is something I don’t hear as much about recently. Whether people have gotten over it or just aren’t as vocal about it anymore, I don’t know, but as someone who grew up with Pokemon it was something that came up frequently each new game that came out, and it tended to be more prominent each time.

Shall I Actually Post Something Today? I Think I Shall

Yes, I’m going to post an episodic for both episodes of Shana that are out that I haven’t covered yet. But I have classes to deal with first so that’ll be later today.

As for why I didn’t post, obviously NaNoWriMo is still going on (which I’m horrendously behind on), but I got accepted to play the beta for Star Wars: The Old Republic for this last weekend, which, believe it or not, took even higher priority over watching Shana. But I was basically playing 24/7. And it was awesome.

I’d explain what I did in it and why it was so damn awesome, but participating in the beta weekend(s) requires signing an actual, legit nondisclosure agreement, so NOPE.

How to Distract Me From Working on the Seasonal Awards Post

I spent all day shoving brass knuckles into people’s faces instead of doing anything productive.

Totally worth it.

osu!: A Rhythm Game for Your Computer

snap1

I actually wanted to write about Pokémon to celebrate Black and White coming out, but it got late and I couldn’t think of anything to write about so I reverted to my original idea, which was this.

Anyways, this won’t be long, because everyone in existence knows what a rhythm game is.
